Today, the Jugos experts have brought you a little treat in lieu of the fact that Ramadhan is soon approaching!

Here are five different smoothies that are super healthy and packed with nutrients for when you break your fast! The best part is, you can make them all in the comfort of your own home, without the need for any fancy ingredients.

Mango Lassi

Late March to early August gives us the sweetest tasting mangoes and those months also happen to be when mangoes are at their juiciest. This makes the mango lassi, a mix of mangoes, yogurt and sugar, an ideal option to break your fast with.

What you need:

· 2 mangoes - peeled, seeded and diced

· 2 cups plain yogurt

· 1/2 cup white sugar

· 1 cup ice

Directions: In a blender, combine mangoes, yogurt, sugar and ice. Blend until smooth. Pour into glasses and serve.

Banana Blast

Bananas have a sufficient amount of sugar which your body can then turn into energy, an ideal option after a day of fasting.

What you need:

· 2 bananas

· 1 cup milk

· 1/4 cup water

· 2 tablespoons brown sugar

· 8 cubes ice

Directions: In a blender, combine bananas and milk. Pulse until bananas are chopped. Pour in water and brown sugar. Blend until smooth. Toss in the ice cubes and blend until smooth. Pour into 4 glasses and serve immediately.

Avocado Smoothie

Avocados, aside from being great detoxifiers and gentle on the stomach, have nutrients that are good for the skin. Avocados are also very tasty and can be eaten as part of a salad, or eaten with bread.

What you need:

· 1 ripe avocado, halved and pitted

· 1 cup milk

· 1/2 cup vanilla yogurt

· 3 tablespoons honey

· 8 ice cubes

Directions: Combine the avocado, milk, yogurt, honey, and ice cubes in a blender. Blend until smooth. Pour into glasses and serve.

Cranberry Smoothie

Nourish your system with the cranberry smoothie, a mix of almond milk, mixed berries, and cranberry (or cranberry juice in the absence of fresh cranberries).

What you need:

· 1 cup almond milk

· 1 banana

· 1/2 cup frozen mixed berries

· 1/2 cup fresh cranberries

Directions: Blend almond milk, banana, mixed berries, and cranberries in a blender until smooth. Refrigerate until chilled, at least 1 hour. Pour into glasses and serve.

Granana Smoothie

With a mix of milk, apples and banana, there’s no better way to break a fast than with this healthy power drink.

What you need:
